Warranty

The following terms apply when claiming warranty on products purchased from Computer Planet. By submitting a product for warranty service, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Data & Backup

  • Computer Planet is not responsible for any kind of data loss that may occur during diagnosis or repair of the product.
  • The customer must back up all important data before leaving any device for repair or service.

2. Display, Touch & Screen-Related Issues

  • No warranty is provided on screens, including any cables or accessories connected with the screen, on all touch laptops and touch All-in-One (AIO) PCs.
  • No warranty is provided for dots, dead pixels or similar minor imperfections on the screen.

3. Battery & Power

  • No warranty is provided on battery backup performance. Battery warranty is valid only if the battery is considered dead (backup time is less than 10 minutes).
  • No warranty applies if the product (laptop or adapter) is damaged due to improper, unstable or erratic electrical supply.

4. Physical Damage, Liquid Damage & Tampering

  • No warranty of any kind is provided in cases of physical damage, impact, cracks, dents or any visible damage to the product.
  • No warranty is provided in cases of liquid spillage or any form of liquid damage.
  • Warranty is void if the serial number or warranty seal is removed, defaced or tampered with.
  • Warranty is also void if the product has been opened, serviced or repaired at any place other than Computer Planet or an authorised service partner.

5. Software & Operating System

  • Warranty does not cover software of any kind, including operating systems, drivers, applications, viruses/malware, data corruption or software configuration issues.

6. Repair Time & Parts Availability

  • In case of hardware failure, it will normally take approximately 3–5 weeks to get the required parts replaced, depending on stock and supplier timelines.
  • The time frame mentioned is an estimate only and may vary due to circumstances beyond the control of Computer Planet (such as shipping delays, customs clearance or manufacturer availability).

7. Warranty Card Requirement

  • The buyer must bring the original warranty card to claim any warranty service.
  • Without a valid warranty card, warranty will not be covered under any circumstance, even if the purchase invoice is available.
